How can VST help?
VST will develop a personalized program for you, based on the initial assessment and your preferences and needs. Dr. Kazenski has particular expertise teaching families with children who stutter between ages 3-10 how to use the Lidcombe Program. Lidcombe enables parents to respond specifically to their child's stuttering and to engage with their kids in fun activities to help them communicate easier throughout their day.
If you are an older child, teen or adult, you will learn tools to help you participate in school or at your job, so you can say what you want to say when you want to say it. Your therapist will also help explore some of the emotions that can come with your stuttering and connect you with other people who stutter.
Although stuttering can be stressful at times, you're definitely not alone!
See the Stuttering Info. page to determine whether now is the time to contact VST for help. Looking forward to hearing from you!
